The Camden Junior Welfare League Now Accepting Applications for Grants |
The Camden Junior Welfare League is accepting applications for grant money to be awarded to 501 (C)(3) organizations
specifically dealing with children in the Kershaw County area beginning April 1, 2012. Grants range from $250.00 to $2,500.00.
The application is available for download here and completed proposals should be mailed to CJWL, P.O. Box 578, Camden,
SC 29021. Proposals must be received by May 10, 2012. If you have any questions, you may contact Kayla Shoemake at
803-606-5977 or at info@camdenleague.com. The League office is not staffed; therefore, proposals are only accepted via mail.

DID YOU KNOW?
In 2010 - 2011 The Camden Junior Welfare League:
- Gave $6,052.75 to school services at 15 schools in Kershaw County , which benefited 63 students
- Awarded $1000 each in scholarship money to 3 students
- Awarded $12,000 in grants which was divided among 9 facilities
- Gave a $100 donation to Special Olympics
- Out of a discretionary fund, helped a child with new shoes ($30) and helped a needy family at Christmas with $149
- Was able to give over $21,331.75 to benefit the children of Kershaw County
