2010/2011 Camden Junior Welfare League Grants

The Camden Junior Welfare League is accepting applications for grant money to be awarded to 501 (C)(3)

organizations specifically dealing with children in the Kershaw County area beginning February 1, 2011.

Grants range from $250.00 to $2,500.00. The application is available for download below and should be

mailed to CJWL, P.O. Box 578, Camden, SC, 29021. Proposals must be received by April 1, 2011. If you

League office is not staffed; therefore, proposals are only accepted via mail.

The Camden Junior Welfare League is also accepting applications for the 2011 Camden Junior Welfare

League College Scholarship for graduating seniors planning to major in a “helping” profession such as

healthcare, social work, teaching, ministry, etc. beginning February 1, 2011. The League will award a $1000

scholarship to one graduating senior from each of Kershaw County’s three high schools. The application is

available for download below or from each high school’s guidance department. Completed applications must

be submitted to the high school’s guidance department by March 31, 2011. If you have any questions, please
